Vopak Lanshan is part of the Vopak multinational network
family of terminals providing logistics support and third
part bulk liquid facilities for the chemical and petroleum
industry in Northern China. Vopak provides a highly sophisticated
service on a world-wide basis directly linked to customer's
requirements.
Both multinational and local domestic companies use the
storage and handling facilities of Vopak Lanshan.
Vopak Terminal Lanshan Limited is a joint venture company
between partners Vopak Holdings Singapore Pte Ltd and Sinochem
Shandong Import and Export Corporation. It dates back to
1995 for its original incorporation.
Vopak Lanshan is strategically located in the east of the
Port of Lanshan near the city of Rizhou in Shandong Province.
Lanshan is found on the northeast coast of China, port access
being from the Yellow Sea.
Vopak Lanshan is not only the an ideal entry (or export)
location for Shandong Province but also for the Northern
Jiangsu, Northern Anhui, Henan, Southern Hebei and Shanxi
provinces due to extensive roadway systems and the hinterland
rail network.
Vopak Lanshan service includes produtc storage, receipt
of products for import and export by sea, rail and truck
plus delivery of products by sea, rail tank car, truck and
drum. Storage Faclilties include provision of heating and
or chillling as required, provision of nitrogen blanketing
all complimented by packaging and warehousing services.
Marine facilities include a custom constructed berth, recently
commissioned with draft of 11 metres being increased to
13 metres by dredging at present under way by Lanshan Port
Authority. The berth is designed to handle tanker vessels
of up to 50,000 DWT.
Product range covered at Vopak Terminal Lanshan: petroleum
products, chemical and specialist products such as sulphuric
acid, latex, carbon black and bitumen.
