The company has been around for many years and is pleased to have a large group of Krean and foreign customers as their loyal clients. The acquisition in 2000 of the former Sung Shin Tank Terminal has provided the base for an expansion of service offerings and increased flexibility.

Vopak Terminals Korea now operates several terminals in the port of Ulsan, handling a variety of chemical products, both imports and exports. The company is also equipped to handle pressurized products.

Via pipelines, Vopak terminals Korea supplies feedstock to a number of chemical production plants in its vicinity. In addition to storage, the company also provides the typical slate of add-on services such as drumming, heating, nitrogen blanketing and forwarding.

Through its subsidiary Shin Heung, a company that provides stevedoring services on the piers in the port of Ulsan, Vopak Terminals Korea is in the position to very efficiently link the ships to the terminal manifolds thus creating minimum waiting time between arrival and start of the un(loading) operation, or between end of (un)loading and sailing.
